I am beyond sad today. I am grieving the loss of my Montblanc Boheme fountain pen. 😭😭😭
It was my trusted companion during moments of introspection, providing solace as I poured my soul onto paper. During countless business meetings, it was my faithful ally, diligently recording the essentials. I realized today that I always wrote with it when I made plans. It accompanied me on every journey, becoming integral to my life.
I love writing with fountain pens. I went through university writing with one my parents bought for me in high school. Unless I took the notes from courses in carbon copy for my friends, I would always use one.
You know the silly question, ‘If you were to go to an island, what would you bring?’… don’t ask!
I have learned the art of letting go throughout my life, but I still have a long way to go. I practiced it intensely, particularly when I departed Romania nine years ago, parting with almost all our home and office possessions and my work for almost 15 years with 121. I traveled with two suitcases to the U.S. And my fountain pen. 🖌️❤️
When Cris tried to console me earlier, I told him I would rather leave the house without lipstick or money than my fountain pen. Yet, today, I grapple with the reality that we got lost. 🥹
The realization has struck me deeply, and I am still accepting it. It felt like I lost a very dear friend. It might sound completely ridiculous, and you can say, ‘Wake up, woman! It’s just a pen! There are more important things in the world.’ …Yes, you are right, but this is the microdrama in my little universe.
I hope whoever found my fountain pen will appreciate and treasure it as much as I have. Because it brought me so much joy in the last almost 25 years! 🙏❤️

Later edit: I found it! After Cris took my car to the carwash, I discovered it stuck under the passenger's seat. I didn't know how to react at first! 🥳🤦♀️
